Over a coffee, the business idea for Lyng was laid; namely to pay tribute to this inspiring corner of the world with vibrant design on unique products.

Mali Anette Hoel

(b.1974) is a cartoonist and painter, born and raised in Oppdal. Every week since October 2009, she has delivered ❝Mali's line❞ in the local newspaper OPP. Through her drawings, she looks with a slanted eye at everyday situations that can arise in a small rural community. At the same time, they often have a universally valid message about issues that some and each of us face. experiences. Mali's drawings are never boring, they are characterized by a warm humor or a touch of melancholy. The use of a small, and often witty quote that she finds online, books, poems, everyday speech or makes up herself, adds not only an original twist to the drawings, but also an extra dimension.

Yvonne Jeanette Karlsen

Yvonne Jeanette Karlsen

Yvonne Jeanette Karlsen (born 1966) is an artist from Fredrikstad with an education from Glemmen High School. She is known for her warm and sensual artistic expression, especially focusing on the human body through oil paintings and lithographs. Karlsen has participated in exhibitions nationally and internationally, including Turkey, Oslo and other Norwegian cities. An exhibition in Oslo was praised by the Swedish poet Håkan Sandell for Karlsen's sensual depth and color drama, which he described as a modern interpretation of classical styles.
